By simulating correctly the ignition of plastic polymers, we have developed a property solution for the automatic compression molding of plugs.
Starting from the 3D models, we have created a detailed simulation of the behavior of the molding closure considering frictions, pressures and all the forces involved. This simulations allowed us to rapidly hit the targets of the project, significantly reducing the experimental effort of the verification.
Moreover, we have simulated the dynamic of a rotary table to see the actual behavior during acceleration and braking of the working cycle. Today this one-of-a-kind machine, is available on the market.
